Hey
i have a scenario in mind that i want waraxe or other experts give their ideas about it
the scenario is :
first: you just have admin access over a nuke site and you activated the integrated phpbb board inside it and you have full admin rights in it.
second: another copy of phpbb forum is installed in another folder(without nuke) , but you don't have admin rights in it.
the question is can you use ur rights in the nuke and it's integrated phpbb board to manipulate the tables in the other phpbb installation ?
i mean getting md5 hash of the admin in the other board , or restoring ur own database file in the new forum
any clue in this ?

You can manipulate only with current database, where you are logged in. And because traditionally different phpBB installations are in different databases, then you cant do, what you wanted. But if there is one database for multiple phpBB installations (with different table prefixes), then it's of course possible. |
