i though also wtf, thought it was DNS problem, and looked problem from my
side

this reminds how much people need this great search engine,
i've heard they got some real brain-hugies up there, just how they hire people is amazing, like putting some secret formulas up in every day life and see if someone gets it or some other tricky stuff anyway i belive they have taken more than good care to not get themselves hacked. |

it happen for me sometimes, in a long time
but not the google down, but the DNS of my ISP
---
btw i forget to access google , bvut i always had trouble when logging to my gmail, i think it becoz my GPRS connection
anyway , it would be a big stroy if google was down , couldt imagine about this, google like library for us, are there internet users dont know/using google ? how many percent ?

| afaik it was because the main managment server (that splits all the seperate searches among countless other smaller servers/clusters) was having problems, so no traffic could be routed at all. |

Hey Waraxe,
With out getting into to much detail if a large ISP has routing issues and google peers with them then the problem could be felt thur out the Internet. If you want to know more just e-mail me.
