Hi all!!!
I made a md5 hash impossible to crack!!
You can try (I let my pc work about 2 week with CUDA Multiforcer and no result!!)
This is the hash : $1$ZaNbuQrZ$IfL9zlWK40aIFbXga1zjE/
Good Work!! |

Congratulations... Just asking, you did use md5(unix) and not md5 when using GPU bruteforcing right? |

Sorry, I don't know what you mean with md5(unix).
Could you please explain? |

Md5(unix) is the algorithm used to hash the original password resulting in your hash.
I suspect you ran the bruteforce attack for the simple md5 algorithm, therefore it's quite logical you didn't find the password after running an attack for two weeks... |

Ok thanks man!
But could you please explain me how run the attack correctly? I never hear that I have to run a specific hash to crack hash.
Thanks!! |

I don't think that application supports the md5(unix) algorithm. I might be wrong though. |
