ba9ba9 - why don't you want to understand that bruteforce is not VERY recommended for cracking passwords (just if you really want it, and I mean really really really really want it)
Your computer is quite good ... and you should succeed with PasswordPro and a good dictionary attack (simple, combined or hybrid) !
But if you want to use a dictionary attack you'll need ........... !
The ....... must be filled by you, so you'll need to do a little research !

I am here for educate and khnow more and more
i want to khnow some information from a experience personne and for that i thanks tehhunter for helping me...
so i asked if the bruteforce isn't very powerfull can you help me to do the best and search the right solution.
if you speak about the worldliste I khnow theme but i dont have a nice and a big wordliste...and it dont work with me |

I think it might be possible to do that. As a matter of fact, right now I'm working on extending my Crypto program so that I can use it with a bunch of client computers that respond to one server, so in that way I can control them and make them all work on a specified task at once so I can get much better speed. Look in the preferences for something like that in passwords pro though.
I finished coding the server aspects, but I just have a little bit left as far as adding the necessary client parts.
P.S. I'll definitely allow everyone here to view it in action (I'll provide a guest password to the server, which will be commanded by a webpage). It should be really, really fun to work with.

thank you very much for helping me ... I will try and I hope it work with me...
so if i can have a big wordliste it make it very rapid ??? or i must cut the file of wordliste in the small file for more rapidite |

You can have a file for every word if you want, or a file for all the words !
It's still the same result ! And this is what's counting ... right ? In all the situations the result is the more important !
teh's wordlists are splited in many files ... because he want's to know what is where ! |

Yeah this is true it makes it much easier for updating purposes and also if i were to know specific things about the hash (e.g. its from a sports forum) I can increase my efficiency by choosing related wordlists (e.g. sports teams, positions, numbers, etc). |

i have another question ... if i have a ipb forum and i put it a membre and i will change the password directli from data base (mysql) and i put remove the hash exist and i put the hash that i would find her password...
after i demande de remenber my password this methode existe or not ???? |

if i have installed a ipb forum in my local server..
after i register with any login and password
after I go to data base (mysql) and i replace the hash of my password with the hash that i would find the password
after i go to the forum and i try to recovery the password in my E-mail
this methode can be realiseded or not ?????
