Well the hash you provided is MD5(galletto)... so he didn't do anything wrong. You must have the wrong hash or something.

Could you guys help me in the right direction with mdcrack ?

I've found this program after i've searched tehhunter's "[1] collision found" ... I've tried to crack the eieio12 password but it's taking too long time ! 15 mins on AMDx2Turion 1700mhz

my comand was mdcrack-sse --algorithm=MD5 hash

I'm wondering how you crack so fast an md5 hash ? Embarassed

I use a custom program I made myself that uses common names and words and passwords and makes modifications of them on the fly (aka rowing -> r0wing -> RoWiNG , etc). I just have awesome wordlists.

Its not 'mdcrack' and has nothing to do with it. Its called crypto and im going to be putting it up on sourceforge.net anytime now.
