I can now say for certain that the password is not a 1 to 6 character hash of upper, lower or numeric characters. Crap. I want to a few more things before I give up on it! However, given the failure of the brute force attack... I can say that the chance of me finding the password now is very slim indeed... I shall press on! Update: unfortunatley, I am now out of options. I have launched *every* attack available to me to no avail. The password may be any combination of letters and numbers 7 or more characters in length. There is no more I can do. I could launch another brute force attack with a 1-7 password length, but this would increase the brute force length from just under 1 day to over 60 days.
