i just got administaration rights to a forum, how do i find username passwords of fellow members? how do i get the md5 hash? |

Ok, first of all what is the software of the forum you have *cough* l33ted*cough* I mean hacked?
Different software uses different hash variants... for example phpBB2 uses plain MD5 which are relatively easy to crack, but phpBB3 uses a variant of MD5 which makes cracking a LOT harder (However it can be done).
Also, finding member's password hashes is *much* harder on most free forum hosting sites because SQL backup, resotre and download features are generally disabled. Find out where the forum is hosted, if it is on shared or private hosting then it is likely that you will be able to get those password hashes |
