Excellent stuff BoboTiG, well coded and it works very well. Nice and simple! I will recommend it!
One suggestion - you say encrypt/decrypt but when it comes to hashes that is incorrect - what you are doing here is hashing / cracking. Decryption implies that you can use an algorithm to reverse hashes instead of just finding collisions. |

Thank you very well

Well, I know that, but like you tell me, I should change these words
Hmm I can use hash instead of crypt and "try to find collisions" instead of decrypt; but it's too long. I am french, so perhaps there is another words which are less long that these?. |

I would just use hash for crypt, and crack for decrypt
Of course I would like to see support for salted hashes, but I understand that isnt practical because of the sites not supporting salted hashes. |

Yes, it could be very usefull, maybe if one or more sites propose the service, I could always add an option like --salt. |

Oho excellent! However it was in the list, I don't see anything!
Well, I will add your server to a new array special =P and add the --salt option.
Very nice |

Hey, I saw you've very large databases, do you think we can find an arrangement like that I can add your server? 'Cause the problem for now is the captcha... |

! UPDATE 20090624 !
It's good, now there is one server which can crack with SALT.
So, --salt and --method were added.
Use:
Code: | perl md5-utils.pl -d <hash> --salt="SALT" --method=METHOD |
To know differents METHODs, just forgot it and It will say you the choice.
And this is the changelog:
Quote: | === 2009/06/24 ===
+ when -f option is used, we sort and uniq the list
+ added --salt option, you can specify a salt (--salt="SALT")
+ added --method option to specify the method to use (--method=x)
+ added some CMS and boards which used these methods (infos from Waraxe Forums)
+ server added (md5.hamaney.net) [SALT]
|
Enjoy it! |

Some kind of status information would be helpful, like "Checking hash on server x". Perhaps -s to enable/disable status. |

Already exists, you can modify some vars on the top of the script:
Code: |
#============================================================================================================
#################################### THERE YOU CAN MODIFY AS YOU FEEL #######################################
#============================================================================================================
# Languages: 0: english / 1: french
my $language = 0;
# Colors: 0: disable / 1: able (not available for Windows)
my $colors = 1;
# Be verbose (1) or not to be verbose (0)?
my $verbose = 0;
# Do you want to clear the console ? ( 0: no | 1: yes)
my $clear = 1;
# Please specify the path where found.txt and not-found.txt will be created when -f option is used
# /!\ Do not forgot the '/' or '\' at the end /!\
my $final_path = '/home/bobotig/Desktop/';
# User agent
my $user_agent = 'Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en; rv:1.9.0.4) Gecko/2008102920 Firefox/3.0.4'; |
Then, set $verbose to 1
