One suggestion - you say encrypt/decrypt but when it comes to hashes that is incorrect - what you are doing here is hashing / cracking. Well, I know that, but like you tell me, I should change these words Hmm I can use hash instead of crypt and "try to find collisions" instead of decrypt; but it's too long. I am french, so perhaps there is another words which are less long that these?. It's good, now there is one server which can crack with SALT. So, --salt and --method were added. Use: Code: perl md5-utils.pl -d <hash> --salt="SALT" --method=METHOD To know differents METHODs, just forgot it and It will say you the choice.
