they are probably base64 encoded MD5's the other one without the "==" at the end I dont know

no, its mcrypt with base64 encoding:D

http://www.php.net/manual/en/function.mcrypt-encrypt.php

especially cc data are encrypted with that method, because the "key" is storend in the config files (e.g. os commerce)

so the string's from db are useless without key
