Hey guys. so I got the hash and salt of a particular account that i wanted the password for. I even got the password but the length of the password is more than 32 digits so the forum will not read it. Every time I try the password, it tells me that the password is too long. I even tried to just use the first 32 digits but that didn't work either.
Can someone help me out with this? Is there a way to get around this or anything? Thanks a bunch! |

Salt: 7>h]}
The password I ended up getting was:

wow. I'd like to know that as well.
There is NO chance a dictionary would have that and it is long to brute force.
What's the story? |

Oh sorry guys, I was a little busy.
Anyways, I had a lead on the password so I just added a couple of characters in one of my dictionaries. I mean, if I got this password with standard dictionaries, I would have shat bricks myself. This is one hell of a long password. |

So you must have watched him criss-cross the keyboard with both hands then or something like that.
Did you get it working? |

I still couldn't log in with that password because IPB bugs up when the password is that long. So I have no idea. But either way, the I got the hash and salt for that account again and the password seems to have changed. I guess I the account owner had troubles logging in as well. If anyone wantsto help me out with the new hash and salt you're more than welcome to lol ;o |

Uh,
If he used the wrong algorithm, what are the chances he would get a password that was alternating left and right on the keyboard every other key? Look at that pass again. |
