Possibly a stupid nooblike question, but I've searched google and cant find an answer.
On a smf board when you try to retrieve your password, it resets it for you, is there any way I can change it so that it retrieves your old pass and does not reset? there is no option in the settings. it's my own board, so I do have access to files in the server. I was thinking it would be a quicker way to crack hashes if I uploaded a new backup containing some needed hashes and retrieved to my mail. Also do you know if this would work with any other boards such as VB.
Thanks in advance for any advise. |
