hi collegues
I have a root mysql hash can any one help me get the plain text?
hash is:
*77D90308937253D62DF9402121D8CD7C2A9E0E5D
another thing can anyone help me have the c code or c++ code of hashing function of this version of mysql.

Have a look here for the Sha-1 algorithm. The MySQL5 algorithm is just a double Sha-1 hash. |

thank you very much
but as I found it is not exactly a double sha1
it's a sha1 of the binary form of sha1 hash of the password
a real pain
