Isn't ionCube the best way to protect a PHP script? (latest version)
Is there any good PHP Obfuscator? (I am not talking about the basic eval(base64..., but there seems to be some new ones that scramble a lot...)
Thanks!

Altough this post is old, I want to clarify it. This is the simple rule:
If the loader can see the source, you can see it too.
The name of the loader doesn't matter. Whether it is 'eval(base64' or IonCube it is decodable. Some loaders obfuscate the PHP code (replace the variable names with garbage), but for someone who wants to study the logic of the code, obfuscating is useless too. |
