heya! i've just compiled a very big wordlist (9.2GB), i've merged/sorted/uniqued (took me 14 hours ^^ on my athlonXP) it using the cat command on linux (via cygwin). but my wordlist does contains some special caracters like ¶¬¿µ (but there are many others) that are badly handled by passwordspro (a special caracter causes the program to stop the dic attack :'( ), i'm not a super pro with the cat command, but i think i can work with it to remove -any- non alphanum caracters. can you help me ? thanks alot!

here is cat option :

Code:
[xxx@xxx~]#cat --help
Usage: cat [OPTION] [FILE]...
Concatenate FILE(s), or standard input, to standard output.

-A, --show-all equivalent to -vET
-b, --number-nonblank number nonblank output lines
-e equivalent to -vE
-E, --show-ends display $ at end of each line
-n, --number number all output lines
-s, --squeeze-blank never more than one single blank line
-t equivalent to -vT
-T, --show-tabs display TAB characters as ^I
-u (ignored)
-v, --show-nonprinting use ^ and M- notation, except for LFD and TAB
--help display this help and exit
--version output version information and exit

With no FILE, or when FILE is -, read standard input.

Examples:
cat f - g Output f's contents, then standard input, then g's contents.
cat Copy standard input to standard output.

well , i don't think there is a option for removing ...

but you can use Notepad++ also ...
[ it will take long time , bcoz you should do it manual ]
