Ok, I have been spending a lot of time on my computer, inside and out, so I want to further my knowledge. I guess you can call me a kiddie scripter, but I want in on the real stuff. I know basic MSDOS commands and stuff like that. I wanna know, is there a way to access a person, with just their ip? I plan on trying this on a couple of friends and my brothers to be honest, however thats as far as I plan to go. So any help to a fellow newbie?

Well if you have their IP you can port scan them and hope for some open ports. But you probably wont get very far with that.

Ok, after i portscan them, and i find an open port, how do i connect to that port? And is there any way to hack into someones computer, with out having them access a backdoor trojan?

sometimes a few modem and routers have default passwords, stupid passwords really, and you can guess them, like "admin","admin" or "admin","password" and so on, if that person have a open'd router or modem and you login into it, AND if you can play with the defenitions, you can do some stuff even if the person has a nice firewall and updated anti-virus. You can even shut their internet down but this is a waste of time on my point of view.
Cracking computers isn't easy at all and you have lots of "if" on your way, and at the end you wont really earn nothing with that kind of attack, the person will recover from it, get back into his life and forget about it like it never happend.
I think that you should learn a bit more about some stuff, security, hacking basics and so on and forget about cracking, if you do something stuppid, get caught and that person makes something against you on court you can even go to jail but that is everyone's problem, not mine.

Oh almost forgot, you can search for exploits that are working on most common applications, and you can also try phishing that person on a website. that's also a bit dangerous and if the person see's that someone wants to hack him, they get cautious.
try not to waste your time on small things, if you study security, some linux basics, and so on, you can make some real stuff probably on random targets
