Hello , first of all i wana ty you all for the nice forum and community i've past lots of time trying to read and learn from you all ,now the question.
if i have to try a sql injection or hack in a phpbb forum and i know the version example 2.0.10 but is patched how should i know wich kind of patches it got?
i mean is there a way to find a vulnerability even in a patched forum?

There is no magic methods. If you can't look at source code of the scripts on target webserver, then only one method is usable - old good "trial and error"
Just try some exploits against target and find out, what happens. |
