What kind of hashes are these?

They are from about 2001-2002 ish and they belonged to an online mmropg game.

So i was just wondering what type of hashes these are ... they seem way to short for md5 but im clueless on what they could be.

as waraxe already said, they look like traditional salted DES. However, I run john and could crack one:
